okay this morning my bil was in a car accident and we went to the hospital to be with him .
(btw he is now home and going to be okay ) .
one of the ct techs is a witness from our old hall .
He probably saw that in a yearbook and thought "wow that's a good idea "
I don't want to post the childs first name because he might google it and I would hate for it to show up here BUT I will give you a clue ....it is the name of the Big pine trees that live near Yosemite in Cali .....hint over continue on ....DON"T POST THE NAME

Okay this morning my BIL was in a car accident and we went to the hospital to be with him .(BTW HE is now home and going to be okay )
One of the CT techs is a witness from our old hall . After the procedure he came into the waiting room where I was . Nice young guy that he is , he came over to talk to me . He told me his wife and he just had their first baby .
Then he tells me the babies name ......a very strange (but cool ) first name, but then proceeds to tell me the babies middle name is one of the Governing Bodies last names ! He said "Well I figure most people choose a bible name and we figured a Governing Body members name would be just as good " WTF ......w/o a blink of an eye this person does not see how they are putting these men on a pedestal ....so weird
my dad read something online that i posted and told the other elders (he's the boe coord.).
they've read me articles about homosexuality and tried to coerce me to stay with the family instead of living with my uncle for a week.
i went to my uncle's anyway.
So now what are they going to do ? Did they say this was an investigative meeting ? Will there be a JC next or were they satisfied you are just guilty of watching porn ?

Yes the miner with the first name Samuel is a Jehovah's Witness . My in laws sent me an email back when the accident happened that had a letter attached speaking about him .
to cut very long story short , my inlaws have not seen my child for 18months we left the area they live 2 years ago after a ex min servant was sent to prison for abusing kids including my eldest child , understandably i wanted a fresh start !
today my jw motherinlaw tried to give her disfellowshipped son ten pounds for our child (her granchild she hasnt seen for 18 months ) he asked her why ?
she told him i told her it was best if they didnt see our child anymore just before i left town (half hour drive away from our new home ) this is not true at all !
Sorry but I don't understand WHY you need to call Bethel about this ????
Why don't you just call your Mother In Law (or better yet have your husband call her ) and tell her, her other son told you she didn't feel welcome in your home . Then explain she is free to come to your home to see the grand children and that in the future if she wishes to give them gifts or money it is more appropriate for her to do it in person .
Be an adult about this give her the benefit of the doubt . Maybe she does feel since you left that she is not welcome . Would it really hurt anything to just call and clear upo the mis-understanding ?
I get it . Your family went through some horrible crap ,and your child should never have been treated and abused as she was . However now the man is put away and you have a fresh start . Be a good example , don't let the foolishness of the MIL bring you down to her level .Rise above it be the better person and extend the 'olive' branch .
My humble opinion .....I don't live in your shoes ......but sometimes we need to see through someone else's eyes .
